Historic Centre
Stroll through the charming streets of Lisbon
From Cais do Sodré, the beautiful historic centre is just a stone’s throw away. Walk along the river, across grand plazas, through quaint little streets and along fantastic viewpoints, visit the castle and enjoy the many terraces.
Belém
Beautiful historic quarter
In this magnificent neighbourhood you’ll find the breathtaking Mosteiro dos Jerónimos, the Belém cultural centre and the Padrão dos Descobrimentos monument, which are all located around a gorgeous square. Be sure to try the scrumptious Pasteis de Belém when you’re there.
Costa Da Caparica
25 kilometres of sandy beaches along the Atlantic
Discover the beautiful 25 km long sandy beach of the Costa da Caparica, where you can surf or relax on the beach, stroll along the boardwalk or have a drink in one of the lovely beach bars. From fall until spring you can enjoy spectacular sunsets here.
Sintra
Romantic palaces in UNESCO World Heritage
In the refreshing hills of Sintra lie the country residences of the kings and the elite of yore. Start in the historic centre and don’t miss the Palácio da Pena, located all the way at the top of the mountain.
Cacilhas
The best view of Lisbon
Cacilhas is home to Casa René. It is known for its wonderful restaurants with their fresh fish and seafood specialties. Perfect for a nice walk with a beautiful view of Lisbon, and we can also recommend a visit to Casa da Cerca.
Expo
Explore this modern neighbourhood
Dive into the Oceanário, experience the science museum, walk around amongst the unique architecture and take the teléfric for a spectacular view. The Expo quarter was completely renovated for the ’98 World’s Fair.
